3 WINS ...IN 3 STATES…IN 3 DAYS – Sun Aug 2013

Lucid Triumph (Maitland, NSW), Pink Whistle (Traralgon, VIC) and Just Tripping (Cannington,WA) gave the Golden Paw a trifecta of wins in three states in the last three days. Lucid Triumph made the most of a good box draw and, though tiring, was always going to win on Thursday. The Whistle also drew well (1) at Traralgon and despite a rise in class won well. And, finally, JT back in grade gave nothing else a chance winning by four lengths in a handy 30.50 and is fast closing in on $50,000 in prize money.

Another notable success was the first Queensland win of Aston Notsa at Ipswich for a syndicate of Brisbane Lions F.C. players. Under the guidance of Tony Zamitt, the son of Aston Galilee never gave them a chance from box rise, leading all the way for a good win. Add to that the unlucky second for Codgers Girl at Traralgon in the maiden final and Black Veil's equally unlucky fourth at The Meadows last night and it appears our owners are well placed to enjoy some much deserved race track success in the coming months.
