GPaw Update – Thu Sep 2013

Our owners have had a reasonable run of success in the last couple of weeks with some stellar performances by kennel regulars and newcomers.

Black Veil qualified for her first group final in the G2 SA Oaks at Angle Park. Unfortunately as a reserve she was waiting on a scratching that never eventuated. This followed two seconds at The Meadows, beaten by less than a length on both occasions.

Just Tripping continued to defy the naysayers with his first ever FTA win at Cannington. While it wasn't he strongest field ever assembled, you can only beat what is put in front of you and JT did that emphatically, careering past $50,000 in prize money in the process.

Midnight Light debuted for her owners at Mandurah in WA with an eight length victory and followed up the next week with a second in the Maiden Final. There should be more success for her over the shorts at Mandurah.

Kennel veteran, Pink Whistle, has struck a rich vein of form posting wins at Traralgon and Shepparton and coming a close third in Australia's premier coursing event, the Waterloo Cup, held at Longwood in Victoria. These performances along with a host of placings have kept his owners and followers very happy.
