Kennel Update - 4/7/14 – Fri Jul 2014

It's been a mixed month for Golden Paw kennel track stars with probably the highlight being the debut of Black Superman for the Henry Dwyer syndicate. JC debuted at Healesville in a Debutant series where he won his heat from box 6 and then the final the following Sunday from box 4. He then buttered up at Bendigo and from the red ran a close second after running wide on the home turn. Despite his funny galloping action, he appears to have real ability and Robert Britton has a very high opinion of the young son of Dyna Tron.

Lady Goldenpaw has covered the length and breadth of the nation running in Group races in both NSW and WA. Unfortunately the gutsy little pocket rocket received the visitors draw in both states and came away empty handed but, with a bit of luck with the draw, she should be back in the winners circle shortly. Her brothers, Henry Henriques and Wealthy Schooner have continued on at Sale, Warragul and Cranbourne with another win each.

Bailey Rose stepped up to the 600 journey at Sandown and came away with a win and followed that with a couple of solid placings at Sale in fairly smart fields. She will get better as she gets older. The newest kennel arrival, Zipping Basil, debuted for us at Sandown and has posted a win over 715 and several seconds over both 525 and 600 to demonstrate his versatility but we think he will be at his best over the longer trip.

And, finally, we have had enormous action in the breeding area. Following the seven pup litter to Goldenpaw Wendy (x Nolen) we were presented with another six from Golden Lemon (x Barcia Bale). Currently Golden Patsy is heavily pregnant to boom US sire DJays Octane and Golden Goal has been mated with Australia's gun sire Magic Sprite.
